About the record

Amory & Eleanor is the second release by Tristan Dolce produced by Chris Schlarb and featuring Max Knouse, Ben Lumsdaine, and George Madrid. Recorded over the course of three days in Idyllwild, CA.

The album traces a map of Catalina Island from Parsons Landing to Two Harbors, past the Green Door and the Windward Lights — following Amory and Eleanor through the interior of the island. It’s a set of songs about place and memory: the pull of the island, the people we meet there, and the stories carried home.
